DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK
The fruit sculptures of the TuttiFrutti Collection, sometimes "sliced", sometimes "eaten", sometimes "rotten", are created to raise awareness about excessive food consumption by making the size of the works themselves excessive. This orange completely covered in mold is a symbol of aging and a prelude to the end of its existence, reflecting what happens to all fruits and foods produced and not consumed.
This work is created from the reworking of abandoned road signs left in the environment.
Waste is the fruit of consumerism and human presence on this planet.
Here the Fruit of Man comes back to life and transforms into a Fruit of Nature, the ultimate symbol of energy and life.
Thus was born "TuttiFrutti Collection", a line of artworks fully aligned with environmental sustainability.
