TuttiFrutti: From Road Signs to Sculpture
A discarded road sign becomes a slice of watermelon, a lemon, an apple. TuttiFrutti is a collection by Scoobafish, Maurizio Sergiusti, that transforms reclaimed road signs into sculptures through cutting, shaping and colour. Discover how the works are made.

If you don't know me yet, you should know that I am an artist, although I actually like to define myself as an Eco Artist.
In fact, I create my artworks using reclaimed materials... which I personally collect along beaches, in the countryside, or along roads...

My entire artistic philosophy revolves around sustainability, recycling, and the fight against pollution... That is why I use these materials.
People have no idea how much waste humans produce and abandon in nature every day.

To create the artworks in the TuttiFrutti collection, I used discarded road signs, or signs that had been abandoned and left to rust, which no one goes to collect...
Then I rework these signs, add color... and create whole or sliced fruit... which I eventually mount on black panels.

Every artwork has its own story, and comes to life from a different sign.
These are limited-edition artworks, which I wanted to give plenty of color... to make them highly impactful...
In fact, I like to think of these artworks... as a symbol of life or rebirth.
These artworks are for anyone who wants to have a symbol of this in their home.
